The civilized man has built a coach, but has lost the use of his feet. And this is as true as the human beings. And to refine the first line he says "Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string". Again he says "Nothing can bring you peace but yourself. Nothing can bring you peace but the triumph of principles".
